Caribbean Poker Codes and Tricks
Online poker has become world famous as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to 21 than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or different kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the dealer saying "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players acquire 5 cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you need to either make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s value is akin to your original ante, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your ante goes immediately to the bank. After the bet is the showdown. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with a sum in accordance with the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The bank pony’s up chips equal to your initial bet and set expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
