Beginners Strategy for Double-Hand Poker

Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the west in an excellent game for beginning level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the dealer, unlike most other poker games that gamblers wager against other players. By playing against the dealer, starting players do not need to fret about any other, more experienced individuals winning their $$$$.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game play, beginners can take their time and plan without needing to make frenzied choices.

It’s also easier to enjoy for a long time with only a little amount of money seeing as, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the casino receives seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
