Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the dealer is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and a two card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the casino’s.
